Story Chatting

Marsha Ingrao of Always Write has kindly invited me to guest-host her Story Chat challenge through August and September.

For those of you who haven’t come across Story Chat before, find the current story up for comment HERE.

Earlier stories, along with a link to submit your own, can be found at https://alwayswrite.blog/story-chat-2/. You’ll find one of my stories in there too, posted just before Christmas.

Since then, Story Chat has gone from strength to strength, and is now attracting more comments than ever. I feel honoured and a little nervous to be carrying the flame for a couple of months when I will be posting stories from members of our writing group, the Whittlesey Wordsmiths.

August’s story will be from the Wordsmiths’ group leader , Wendy Fletcher, whose recent memoir, A Railway Carriage Child tells of her childhood in the Cambridgeshire Fens, growing up in converted railway carriages.

I look forward to bringing you Wendy’s story next month.

Thank you, Marsha, for this great opportunity to present our stories to a wider audience.

  1. I’m so excited about this, Cathy. You are going to have fun, and I think your friends who share their stories will love it as well. I’m linking this post in the Story Chat Summary for July.
