They never went away for my kids. Every Christmas or family get-together they’ve brought their favourite board games to play after dinner. I think it’s a product of budget holidays in their formative years (camping or self-catering) when we had to amuse ourselves without a TV.

Scrabble for us, but we’ve just discovered a way of having virtual digital wine tastings with our daughter and husband, revealed Thursday!

I look forward to that! Have you tried three dimensional Scrabble? (I think there are a couple of versions about – we have an ancient Upwords with tiles missing). It brings a whole new. . . dimension to the game.
